Name SARAH DRASNERAbout SARAH DRASNER BIOGRAPHY 2008 Painter, Printmaker, and Photographer: Sarah Drasner received her Masters of Fine Arts from The San Francisco Art Institute, and her Bachelors of Fine Arts in Painting and Printmaking from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. Drasner has exhibited her work in Chicago and San Francisco. Recent San Francisco exhibitions include “The Clique Show” at the Swell Gallery, “The Continuing MFA Show” and “Reality Bites” at the Diego Rivera Gallery. She has been involved in Root Division’s “19th Annual Art Auction,” and shown in “Vernissage” at San Francisco’s Fort Mason Center. She has worked for many prestigious printmaking firms across the country, including Landfall Press in Chicago, and Crown Point Press in San Francisco. She has taught a literacy program for the Cartoon Art Museum, and has worked for the Field Museum of Natural History as a Scientific Illustrator, specializing in Amphibians and Reptiles. Sarah Drasner now teaches at Painting, Photography and Art Theory at Hellenic International Studies in the Arts in Paros, Greece. |
